Hi

I try now since some days to start openswan-2.1.1 on fedora linux core 1
without success.
I could even not use the rpms from atrpms.net they always crash.

I have the following error when I start openswan on fedora:

Apr 7 07:44:20 fw ipsec__plutorun: whack: read() failed (104 Connection
reset by peer)
Apr 7 07:44:20 fw ipsec__plutorun: /usr/lib/ipsec/_plutorun: line 1:
5071 Segmentation fault /usr/libexec/ipsec/pluto --nofork
--secretsfile /etc/ipsec.secrets --ipsecdir /etc/ipsec.d --debug-none
--uniqueids

I tried it on 3 different machines and all with the actual fedora kernel
2.4.22-1.2174.nptl. On all three machines the same problem.

On the same machines the freeswan 2.05 works without problems,
self-compiled or with the rpms from
http://dag.wieers.com/packages/kernel-module-freeswan/.

Maybe someone got any idea why openswan is not working on fedora?

Thanks

Peter B.
