Michael and me are actually working on these issues right now. We are
hoping to actually still have a stable version of klips in 2.4.0, which
would be released in a couple of days.
We believe the problems are in the module code. Very likely if you recompile
a fedora kernel with klips patched as part of the kernel, it will be stable
