Ok, I missed the fact that none of the i386 builds you have are for a fc1 
system. I guess your build script must exclude that case.

Didn't notice your logs. I'm rebuilding now, using the command from your 
log, to see if there's a difference.

Yep. The only thing I changed was to "chown -R buildmeister.buildmeister 
/usr/src/linux-2.4.22-1.2188.nptl". (I made a backup copy of it just before 
doing this, to have a pristine installation of the source RPM for later 
inspection.)
