:<br><br><span style="font-weight: bold;">build</span> is a symbolic link which points to <span style="font-weight: bold;">/usr/src/kernels/2.6.18-8.elf-i686</span> ,but when in /usr/src/ there is no directory called kernels...
<br><br>does that mean that the kernel source is not there in the directory and I need to recompile the kernel? Btw..I am using RHEL 5 now and this is the default kernel installed with RHEL 5. I haven't recompiled the kernel.
