I was just updating some servers running L2TP/IPSEC
with openswan to the latest version (openswan-2.4.5) and
kernel-2.6.16-1.2069_FC4 and I noticed that the XP clients can no longer connect
to the server. It can go as far as closing the tunnel, then it immediatly drops
the connection without even trying to authenticate the user in L2TP. What I have
noticed is that with servers runnig FC2 that problem did not occur. The config
and packages in the FC2 server are exactly the same (except for the kernel), and
it works fine. I'm guessing that's something related to the newer kernels. Has
anyone experienced that problem?
